"Die Homöopathie heilt mehr Kranke als jede andere Behandlungs-
methode, und sie ist jenseits aller Zweifel sicherer und ökonomischer.

Sie ist die umfassendste medizinische Wissenschaft."

  • Case Reports of Five Cancer Patients with Unusual Course.
CONCLUSION:  The appropriate homeopathic remedy, reflecting the Scholten approach, seemed to have beneficial impact on the disease process of the five individuals presented. PMID: 29908526 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Effectiveness of Homeopathic Medicines as Add-on to Institutional Management Protocol for Acute Encephalitis Syndrome in Children: An Open-Label Randomized Placebo-Controlled Trial.
CONCLUSION:  Adjunctive homeopathic medicines may improve clinical outcomes associated with AES. Further randomized and controlled studies, using double-blinded trial design, are recommended to discover if the current findings may be corroborated. PMID: 29871023 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Ultra-High Dilutions and Homeopathy: Can They Be Explained without Non-Local Theory?
Authors: Almirantis Y, Tsitinidis K Abstract We discuss questions related to the 'Benveniste Affair', its consequences and broader issues in an attempt to understand homeopathy. Specifically, we address the following points: 1.:  The relationship between the experiments conducted by Benveniste, Montagnier, their collaborators and groups that independently tested their results, to 'traditional' homeopathy. 2.:  Possible non-local components such as 'generalised entanglement' as the basis of the homeopathic phenomenon and experimental evidence for them. 3.:  The capability of highly diluted homeopathic remedies to provoke tangible biological changes in whole organisms and cellular experimental systems. 4.:  Aspects of the similia principle related to the above. 5.:  Suggest...
  • Response to Individualized Homeopathic Treatment for Depression in Climacteric Women with History of Domestic Violence, Marital Dissatisfaction or Sexual Abuse: Results from the HOMDEP-MENOP Study.
CONCLUSIONS:  Individualized homeopathic treatment is associated with response to depression treatment in climacteric women with high levels of domestic violence, sexual abuse or marital dissatisfaction. Further studies should be conducted to evaluate its efficacy specifically for post-traumatic stress disorder in battered women. CLINICALTRIALS. GOV IDENTIFIER: NCT01635218,:  URL: PMID: 29871025 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Assessment of Likelihood Ratio for Four Contact Dermatitis Symptoms of Vinca Minor.
CONCLUSION:  There was insufficient evidence to attribute any of the four assessed symptoms clearly to VM. Though non-significant, a high LR was observed for "itching amelioration in open air" (symptom 3). Symptoms in the homeopathic materia medica for VM are perhaps over-represented. More research of this nature is warranted. PMID: 29783275 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Symptom Similarity versus Disease Similarity: Revisiting the Application of the Law of Similars and Challenging the Symptom-Centric Approach in Homeopathy.
Authors: Shah R Abstract The system of homeopathic medicine is based on the Law of Similars. It is often implied by students and practitioners of homeopathy that the fundamental principle suggests that if the substance is capable of producing certain 'symptoms', it can also remove, treat, or 'annihilate' similar symptoms if the same substance is administered in a small dose. Hahnemann clearly highlights the importance of pathogenesis or 'disease-producing power', and not just the symptoms-producing power, as a part of the 'totality of the disease'. The author perceives the need for a rectification in the symptom-centric approach in homeopathy. The pathogenesis of disease includes the mechanisms and the cause, which are more complete than the consideration of mere symptoms. Thus, th...
  • Water-Related Mechanisms Proposed for Storing and Transmitting Homeopathic Information: Putative Links with Biological Responses.
CONCLUSION:  Further studies are needed to ascertain whether and which of these hypotheses may be related to potential cellular effects of homeopathic preparations, such as organization of metabolic pathways or selective gene expression. PMID: 29768636 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Phase-Transition-Induced Pattern Formation Applied to Basic Research on Homeopathy: A Systematic Review.
CONCLUSIONS:  Although the number of experimental studies in the area is still rather limited, the long tradition in the application of PTPF methods and the dynamics of the present developments point out the high potential of these methods and indicate that they might meet the demand for scientific methods to study potentized preparations. PMID: 29768637 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Homeopathic Prevention and Management of Epidemic Diseases.
CONCLUSION:  Several different homeopathic methods can be used to treat epidemic diseases. The challenge for the future is to refine these approaches and to build on the knowledge base with additional rigorous trials. If and when conventional medicine runs out of options for treating epidemic diseases, homeopathy could be seen as an attractive alternative, but only if there is viable experimental evidence of its success. PMID: 29753299 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • An N-of-1 Feasibility Study of Homeopathic Treatment for Fatigue in Patients Receiving Chemotherapy.
CONCLUSION:  Adequate recruitment was not feasible in this setting. The n-of-1 study design is feasible in this population from the perspective of the ability to complete the trial. No conclusion on the efficacy of homeopathy for this individual can be made. It is unclear as to whether multiple treatments of chemotherapy would be an appropriate clinical situation in which to apply the n-of-1 trial methodology. Future studies should pilot adaptations to this study design. PMID: 29734461 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • A New Publisher and New Directions.
Authors: Fisher P PMID: 29681026 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Systematic Review of Plant-Based Homeopathic Basic Research: An Update.
CONCLUSIONS:  Regarding research design, future trials should implement adequate controls to identify specific effects of homeopathic preparations and include systematic negative control experiments. Further external and internal replication trials, and control of influencing factors, are needed to verify results. Standardised test systems should be developed. PMID: 29621812 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • Homeopathy for Perennial Asthma in Adolescents: Pilot Feasibility Study Testing a Randomised Withdrawal Design.
CONCLUSIONS:  This pilot study supports the feasibility of the double-blind randomised withdrawal design in studies investigating homeopathy on teenage asthma, when performed by specialists following a standardised clinical-pharmaceutical homeopathic protocol. CLINICAL TRIAL REGISTRATION:  RBR-6XTS8Z. PMID: 29579763 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • A Theoretical Approach to Selection of a Biologically Active Substance in Ultra-Low Doses for Effective Action on a Biological System.
CONCLUSION:  It is shown that the effect of BAS in ultra-low doses on BS can be replaced by the effect of a beam of low-intensity photons, if the frequency of photons equals the precession frequency of spin in spin structures created by BS. Consequently, the color of bodies placed near a biological system is able to exert an effective action on the biological system: that is "color therapy" is possible. It is also supposed that the spin-flip effect may be used not only for determining the precession frequency of spin in spin structures created by BS but also for therapeutic action on biological systems. PMID: 29566403 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher] (Source: Homeopathy)
  • In Vitro Effects of Homeopathic Drugs on Cultured Escherichia coli.
CONCLUSION:  Based on our results, effects of homeopathic treatment of UTI are not based on direct bactericidal or bacteriostatic effects. These findings are in concordance with the hypothesis that homeopathy is based on host effects: for example, activation of the immune system, rather than effects on pathogens.
